Initially focused on fraud prosecution and protection, debt recovery, e-commerce and commercial litigation, we have since expanded our areas of expertise to include a wide range of legal solutions across multiple areas of practice. Vasco de Oliveira Incorporated was recognised as one of UK-based Global Law Experts’ Recommended Firms in Internet and e-commerce law. Our cutting edge expertise in Internet and e-commerce matters offers our clients a fresh and modern approach to this complex and dynamic field of law.

The rapid growth of the e-commerce sector and internet businesses in general has emphasised the importance of understanding the various e-commerce laws and regulations in South Africa. We provide legal and commercial guidance and insight into the new online business models that have disrupted the retail industry.

With few law practitioners specialising in this niche area of law, we are ready to be the firm of choice focusing on internet and e-commerce law in South Africa and abroad.

Furthermore, recognising the vital role played by trade unions within South Africa’s ever-growing democracy, we have broadened our scope of expertise to include litigation at a trade union level. We proudly represent several of South Africa’s leading trade unions at a public level, as well as union officials and members in their private capacities.

Thanks to the comprehensive legal expertise and considerable areas of practice available through Vasco de Oliveira Incorporated, we are capable of assisting individuals and organisations globally with reliable counsel and innovative legal solutions.
